I have also heard that it can stop fast enough to attack afterwards and combo while the opponent is still in hit stun. Anyone know how to control the Grand Shave Roll? #2: I have heard that the parabolic ball attack can hit more than one time...anyone? #3: I never hear of people using stand strong->towards strong (double headbutt) as a combo, but it seems easy to land, works on ducking opponents and does good damage, much more than strong->fierce. Is there any reason or better *realisitic* combo people use? I have also heard that it can stop fast enough to attack afterwards and combo while the opponent is still in hit stun. Anyone know how to control the Grand Shave Roll? The main time I see this is when you hit someone out of the air with it, like they try to cross you up and you go under them with it, then do low forward into ball after it. quote: #2: I have heard that the parabolic ball attack can hit more than one time...anyone? You talking about back, toward+kick? I think it's just spacing, if it even works. I haven't played Blanka forever, but I remember there is something weird about this attack - like you can combo after it or something. shrug. quote: #3: I never hear of people using stand strong->towards strong (double headbutt) as a combo, but it seems easy to land, works on ducking opponents and does good damage, much more than strong->fierce. Is there any reason or better *realisitic* combo people use? This is by far his best combo I think. The Blanka God that you hear Julien talk about so much does just this. Does a lot of Cross up, standing strong, strong into ball - dizzies and does a grip of damage. At least I think that's what it is. I'm sure someone else might be able to provide better answers, as I don't really play Blanka in ST. Derek Daniels omni@shoryuken.com www.shoryuken.com Posted by chankalok on 06:07:2001 01:37 AM: yes!blanka suck cos his ball recovery is the worst now...:< but,his enemy[balrog, honda, ryu, etc] improved very strong!so he really suck now..... Posted by jchensor on 06:07:2001 06:48 AM: Yeah, if you did the Short version of Blanka's Back, Towards + Kick against Dhalsim and have Dhalsim keep walking forward, that parabolic Ball attack will hit like 3 or 4 times. That's the only way I know to do it consistently, though. ^_^ - James Posted by Middlekick on 06:07:2001 07:47 PM: low forward x2->fierce ball is a good combo, and works great after his cross-up short. Posted by chankalok on 06:08:2001 01:58 AM: dun talk any more with blanka!!!i REPEATED blanka is too suck in ssf2t!he had absolute no chance against honda and balrog....[blanka killers]:<:<:< pls,i am too sorry about this, cos i love blanka in earlier sf2,but,after super sf2,he suck.....[he is no more fireballers's nigtmare!] Posted by margalis on 06:08:2001 09:38 PM: The problem with ball attack combos is that when they are finished you usually have to at least block something or at most get hit. By the way, I did manage to do a Grand Shave Roll that only hit three times and didn't bounce either Blanka or the opponent away. I probably could have hit them with something after it but I wasn't exepecting it...now if I can just figure out whether it is totally random or is somehow controllable... quote: Originally posted by Middlekick low forward x2->fierce ball is a good combo, and works great after his cross-up short. Posted by chankalok on 06:09:2001 01:13 AM: hey!loser,gm dun use blanka in st,he suck!almost all char can kill him! Posted by margalis on 06:09:2001 01:28 AM: Chill dude, I use Blanka for fun, and I don't think Blanka is really that bad. Anyway when someone asks for help or info "don't use him he sucks" is generally not what they are looking for... quote: Originally posted by chankalok hey!loser,gm dun use blanka in st,he suck!almost all char can kill him! Posted by chankalok on 06:09:2001 10:48 PM: honda own blanka! Posted by JumpsuitJesse on 06:09:2001 11:29 PM: Chankalok, will you please just shut the fuck up. If you're not going to help out then don't post at all. Nobody gives a shit about your idiotic opinions Either help with the thread, or get out. By the way, Blanka can cross up Balrog with ease. It's a very tuff fight and can go either way IMO. Once you get in, you have to execute and go for the cross up with short kick. JumpsuitJesse "Justice, or revenge??"
